The Hainan International Energy Exchange building, a landmark construction project in the Jiangdong New Area in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province, has attracted dozens of headquarters companies.
The Hainan International Energy Exchange building is located at the intersection of Dong’er Road and Sanheng Road. It was invested and built by Shandong Energy Group, and designed by Kris Yao.
The building features an outdoor sky garden on every fourth floor, with an unrivaled view of the sea. It has not only a healthy, green office environment, but the “smart” building also boasts also intelligent high-end facilities. It was designed with an advanced curtain wall system, which can reduce 62.4% more heat than single-layer glass, achieving a low carbon, energy saving construction model.
Since 2018, the achievements of the Hainan International Energy Trading Center have been growing year by year. In 2020, it became the first trading venue in the Hainan Free Trade Port to exceed RMB 100 billion in trade. In 2021, the Center’s cumulative transaction volume reached RMB 300 billion, and in July 2022, it exceeded RMB 680 billion. At present, nearly 20 enterprises have opened in the Hainan International Energy Exchange building, including energy, financial, and cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
